Positive Post Project launched to support girls’ mental health
Everyone loves to receive a letter…
Rubies is aware that the coronavirus outbreak has had a significant impact on many people’s mental health and the girls we support have been affected by this too.
Research by MIND has shown that 40% of children are suffering from anxiety and worry and 62% are worried about the impact of the pandemic on their lives.
With funding from County Durham Community Foundation and Tees Valley Community Foundation we’re excited to be launching the Positive Post Project to support girls over the summer months, until they can (hopefully) return to something more like normal life.
All girls on our mailing list will receive 6 beautiful themed packs filled with hints, tips and treats to help them feel more positive and manage their mental health at home.
We’ve had great feedback about the post we’ve already sent out during the coronavirus lockdown and we’re looking forward to hearing what girls think of their parcels!
