Meet Lindsey…!!
This amazing lady will be raising funds for Rubies by running as much of the coast to coast relay as she possibly can – up to 190 miles in just 3 days!
Lindsey is a local athlete who is also passionate about raising the aspirations of the young girls in our area by showing them that it isn’t always about where you are from, but more about where you are going…
Growing up in North Ormesby, she understands there can be a lack of opportunities, but she wants to lead by example and show our future girls that opportunities are out there – if you are willing to ‘chase’ after them!
In two weeks time, she will join her running club, the North East Project, as they embark on a relay along the Coast2Coast – but Lindsey won’t just be doing the one leg…she will be seeing how much of the 190 MILES she can complete over 3 consecutive days!
