Rubies is charity of the month at Tecnicas Reunidas in Teesport

Our Co-Founders Liz & Krista were presented with a cheque for £1000 from Tecnicas Reunidas UK in Tessport as part of their monthly safety campaign. The company is currently building the new Biomass Power Station off Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough and are keen to support local charities. Rubies was nominated as their charity of the month for October 2018. Liz & Krista were delighted to attend the site to receive the cheque and to hear about the opportunities the company offers for women to work in the engineering sector.

We are grateful to have received £5000 from ‘Seedbed’ to help us develop the work of the charity. This will make a huge difference to Rubies as we seek to expand the delivery of our 10 week courses in local primary schools.
