Margaret Boldison – Chair of Trustees
Margaret has worked for statutory children’s services for over 20 years. She has supported a huge number of children and families in the local community and has a genuine desire to help people overcome the difficulties they face. Margaret has 2 grown-up children and 2 grand-children and is the Safeguarding Lead for Rubies.
Krista Coulson – Co-Founder & Trustee
Krista has lived in Middlesbrough all her life and knows firsthand some of the challenges that girls in the area face. She has 6 children, 5 of whom are girls, and she is passionate about seeing young people reach their potential. Krista currently works as a youth worker in Redcar and is a leader in her local church.
Liz Edwards – Co-Founder & C.E.O.
Liz has 20 years experience of working in the voluntary sector with women’s, youth and housing organisations. She is currently training to be a psychotherapeutic counsellor and works with women who have experienced trauma and domestic abuse. She has lived in Middlesbrough since 2013 and is a leader in her local church
Ruth Fox – Trustee
Ruth is the founder and CEO of Footprints in the Community, a local charity helping to reduce poverty and isolation in this area. She has 18 years experience working in the voluntary sector and is passionate about helping people achieve and improve their lives. Ruth is mum to three grown up sons and nanna to 5 grandchildren. She is a member of her local Church in Redcar.
Alison Vaughan – Trustee
Alison has been an office manager with a local company for the past 11 years. She has a talent for administration and finance and has previous experience of working with local charities. She has 2 children and 3 grandchildren and is an active member of her local church. Alison is the Treasurer for Rubies.
Hannah Coverdale – Volunteer
Hannah is currently studying a degree in Childhood and Youth Studies and is also a part time youth worker. She supports with the delivery of courses in schools and with social activities for girls.
